We are looking for an Assistant Branch Manager for Rexel C&I in Stamford, CT.
Deal effectively with daily customer service issues. Establish and maintain a relationship with key customers. Schedules branch staff to ensure daily coverage including lunch, breaks, etc. Assist branch manager with supervising branch staff and enforcing all company policies and standards.
Train and coach employees and new hires
Assist in interview and selection of new hires
Recognize personnel problems and take corrective actions as directed by the Branch Manager and company policy
Participate in inventory control and advise Branch Manager of problems
Assist Branch Manager in safeguarding assets of branch: inventory, fixed assets, equipment, and cash
Greet and assist call-in and walk-in customers with the selection and delivery of products and services
Skills, Knowledge, and Education Required
High school diploma with 2 years related management, sales, or operations experience in the electrical distribution industry
Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Knowledge and ability to use MS Word, Outlook, Excel and inventory control system such as Rigel
Knowledge of electrical products, inventory control and warehouse operations
