Rexel USA Post Sales Specialist in Indianapolis, Indiana

The position of Post Sales Specialist will be based out of our Indianapolis, IN location!

Summary

The Post-Sales Specialist is responsible for providing strategic level sales order support to the branch, sales leaders, and external customers. Act as the liaison between operations, sales, sourcing, pricing, warehouse, finance, tax, as well as any external vendors and/or customers. Support presales on all operational responsibilities with orders, such as credits, claims, credit/rebills, as well as execution of quality management system.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide customer support regarding order status, error resolution, expediting and remittance

  • Own all open order management responsibilities, which includes expediting backorders, maximizing fill rates, and ensuring on-time delivery to improve customer satisfaction

  • Develop and distribute on-time delivery reports for strategic customers and programs on defined/regular basis

  • Execute processes for customer complaints and reduce resolution time using quality management system

  • Communicate with suppliers for direct order management, expediting, and invoicing

  • Works with finance in the collection of accounts receivable for disputed invoices in adherence to the company’s credit policy

  • Provide operational support to sales team

  • Be the primary point of contact for warehouse regarding orders, shipments, and receiving

  • Be a subject matter expert in the customer services department

  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

  • High School or GED

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent preferred

  • 2+ years of related experience

  • Sales or operations background

  • Experience in electrical distribution a plus

  • Epicor ERP knowledge is a plus

  • Ticket management experience is a plus

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of processes from quote to remittance

  • Ability to be subject matter expert in customer services department

  • Ability to navigate ticket management system

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Solid presentation skills

  • Strong knowledge / experience using Microsoft Office Tools including Excel and Power BI

  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to prioritize workload and seek process and productivity improvements
