Rexel USA Documentation Control Clerk in Indianapolis, Indiana

The position of Documentation Control Clerk will be based out of our Indianapolis, IN location!

Summary

The Documentation Control Clerk is responsible for pulling and scanning drawings and ensuring accurate and efficient handling of important documents for the Parts Super Center business.

What You’ll Do

  • Retrieve drawings from designated storage areas based on requests from various departments or individuals

  • Accurately scan drawings using designated scanning equipment and software

  • Ensure proper labeling and organization of scanned drawings for easy retrieval and reference

  • Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient drawing storage system

  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill drawing requests in a timely manner

  • Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) for basic data entry and document processing tasks

  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive drawings and documents

  • Works on special projects, analysis, or reports as requested by Manager

  • General warehouse duties as assigned

  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

  • High School or GED

  • Technical school, Associates, or Bachelor's degree a plus

  • 1+ years of clerical or administrative experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proficiency in using scanning equipment and basic knowledge of scanning software

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documents

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • Proficient in typing with good speed and accuracy

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements

  • Able to meet deadlines

  • Ability to work overtime as needed
