We are looking for an Energy Solutions Specialist to join our Rexel C&I team in Denver, CO!

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Selling products through the national lighting magazine and utility rebate programs

  • Supporting the branch network thought the coordination of education with manufacturer representatives and local lighting agencies

  • New customer acquisition through cold calling and targeted accounts

  • Branch liaison for small lighting and controls projects

  • Branch resource for incoming questions and calls from both internal and external customers

  • Midstream program implementation and training

  • Selling products in any active midstream/ upstream programs through the use of vertical marketing tools and the national lighting magazine

  • Participating in product meetings, seminars and trainings to enhance and maintain personal and product knowledge to be superior over the competition.

  • Participating in improving operations by offering potential solutions to existing sales methods

  • Generates product and price quotes as required

  • Establishes and maintains customer relationships, communicates with customers and co-workers to provide continued lighting and control product information

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Cold calling on a daily basis

  • Strong social skills and interactions with all types of customer segments

  • Ability to operate in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to research customer targets and execute on those customer targets

  • Perform mathematical calculations to accurately complete assigned tasks

  • Ability and willingness to pitch in and help others when required

  • Some knowledge of lighting products helpful but not required

  • Intermediate/advanced computer skills, specifically with Excel/Outlook/Word


  • High school diploma with minimum 2 years related experience, specifically with direct sales and product application based selling

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills

  • Ability to drive purchasing decisions with influence

  • Qualified applicants must be customer oriented with strong interpersonal, communication, organization and problem-solving skills
